    So all these knee rheumatoid arthritis exercises that I told you to have to do if you have more pain. But as your pain will reduce a bit, you can increase the intensity of the exercises a little bit. So, I have a resistance band, made of rubber, latex-free rubber.

    Lie down on your back, bend one of your knees and keep the band on the ball of toes. Hold both ends firmly with both the hand and pull the band towards yourself so as to tighten it. Now, slowly straighten your knee against the resistance of the band.

    Remember that you need to keep the band pulled, straighten the leg against the resistance created by the band. Then bend it, then again straighten it, then bend it, then again straighten it. Repeat it 10 -15 times and then follow the same procedure on the other leg. Its a great strengthening exercise.

    Use the same procedure for ankle joint, here, our starting position would be the long sitting position. Keep band over the ball of toes and hold the two ends with both the hands. Keep your knee as straight as possible throughout the exercise.

    Pull the band and bend the ankle towards yourself. Pull the band and tighten it, now bend your ankle away from yourself against the resistance of the band. Will do this at least fifteen to twenty times.
