    Study Design And Participants

    We conducted a cross-sectional study of RA patients who participated in the Kyoto University Rheumatoid Arthritis Management Alliance cohort . The remaining 336 participants were subjected to the analysis. All study procedures were in accordance with the Declaration Helsinki and were approved by the ethics committee of Kyoto University Graduate School and Faculty of Medicine . In all cases, patient consent was obtained prior to sample and data collection.
